Join us at the historic John Marshall House, 818 E. Marshall Street (near City Hall) on Friday, January 16 at 11:30 a.m. for the re-enactment of the famous Inauguration of 1801 featuring Mark Greenough as the Great Chief Justice, John Marshall, and Bill Barker as President Elect Thomas Jefferson.

One of the greatest American love stories of all time took place right here in Richmond. Recount the romantic tale of John and Polly Marshall as told in their beloved Court End home. Afterwards, celebrate true love with an evening of 18th century dance in the House's Large Dinning Room.

Brown Bag Luncheon Lecture Series- Curator Tour of the John Marshall House  |

The John Marshall House presents the first of its Brown Bag Luncheon Lecture Series with a special guided tour and talk with the APVA Preservation Virginia's Statewide Curator, Catherine Dean.
Ms. Dean will highlight pieces of the collection that are rarely viewed by the public and address the issues that curators face when trying to preserve 200+ year old materials.
Bring your lunch to the John Marshall House and have a historically enriching lunch time experience in Downtown Richmond!
