SATURDAY, JULY 9: THE ANNUAL ANTIQUES ONE-STOP ROADSHOW, the fund raiser for the Richmond County Museum and our Northern Neck Branch of PV. Hours are 9 to 1 at Wellford Hall, St. John's Church, Warsaw. Local appraisers will evaluate your antiques and the cost is the same as always-$1.or one item, $25 for three items. Money raised goes to historic preservation grants in the community and to exhibits at the Museum.

The Speaker Series has begun for the Summer of 2011. The time is 6 PM, the place is Wellford Hall, St. John's Church in Warsaw. The cost of admission is the same-a covered dish to share (some also bring wine to share). Please come and enjoy a casual evening with friends and meet interesting speakers on a variety of history related topics.

Thursday, June 30: Jimmy Liscomb will talk about and portray "The Life of a Common Soldier in the Civil War".

Thursday, July 14: The Leedstown Resolves-Ted and Jami Borek will portray Francis Lightfoot Lee and Rebecca Tayloe Lee.

Thursday, July 21: Michael Malone will talk about the Packard Company. He will bring one of his period Packards.

Thursday, July 28: Mike Lyman, a member of the Bicenntenial Committee for the War of 1812 will talk about the war in the Northern Neck.
